Celso to sponsor free viewing of Pacquiao fight Print

Giving in to the request of fanatic boxing fans of the Filipino Pride and Senator Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao here in Zamboanga City, Congressman Celso Lobregat will sponsor a FREE Pay-Per-View public viewing of Manny Pacquiao versus Jeff Horn fight on Sunday.

The Pacquiao-Horn billed fight as “Battle of Brisbane” is a scheduled boxing match for the WBO Welterweight Championship title at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia on Sunday, July 2, 2017.

Congressman Lobregat said that the LIVE-PPV viewing of the Pacquiao-Horn fight will take place 9am on Sunday at the Zamboanga City State Polytechnic College 9ZCSPC) gymnasium at Barangay Baliwasan. It is free admission but in a first come-first serve basis. Entry is limited to the capacity of the gymnasium as well.

“I am inviting the Zamboangeños to watch and support our boxing legend Senator Manny Pacquiao as he takes down the ring Australian Jeff Horn on Sunday, its free for everyone to enjoy the match,” Lobregat said.
