Another man involved in the spate of shooting incidents in the barangays of Talon-Talon, Mampang and Arena Blanco last year fell into the hands of authorities last Tuesday night.

City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo identified the arrested suspect as Gilbert Sineneng y Estrada, 38, married. of Km. 7, Mampang.
Sineneng was arrested by operatives of the Tetuan Police Station while he was attending a wedding and fiesta celebration in Mampang last Monday around 8 p.m.

De Ocampo disclosed that Sineneng was arrested on the strength of a warrant for frustrated murder and attempted murder issued by Judge Jesus Carbon, Jr., of the Regional Trial Court Branch 16 and Judge Tibing Asaali of Branch 17, with a recommended bail of P320,000 for his temporary              liberty.

A police report showed that the arresting officers led by Supt. Albert Larubis also recovered a .45 caliber pistol with two magazines loaded with 18 rounds of ammunition from the possession of Sineneng during his arrest.

Police said that Sineneng was inside the house of Francisco Diaz where he was attending a wedding reception and at the same time fiesta celebration when the policemen arrived and cornered him.

Sineneng surrendered after he realized that there was no way out.
Sineneng is reportedly one of the gunmen who participated in the spate of gun attacks in the three barangay where several people were killed last year.

Efforts exerted by the police led by De Ocampo resulted in the arrest of several people involved in the dispute including Baniser Amping who was also tagged as the gunman in the killing of some personalities and grenade attacks in Talon-Talon.
