50 Marawi evacuees arrive in Zambo Print

Some 10 families composed of 52 members arrived from Marawi city last Wednesday and have undergone profiling by the police and other concerned agencies.

Two of the evacuees were held by police for further investigation after the latter found two boxes of pirated DVDs in their possession.

The two evacuees were identified as Memor Muna y Alamada, 45 years old, married; and Jamil Batador y Najib, 33 years old.

Both are residents of Marawi city.

Muna and Batador together with the confiscated items were taken to the Tetuan Police Station for proper disposition.

The Tetuan police are readying charges against Muna and Batador for possession of undocumented DVDs.  (Dan Toribio)
