A motorcyclist died while two others were injured when three vehicles collided along Lobregat Highway in Victoria last Friday night.

The victim was identified as Benhar Sahazar y Bahin, 28, a resident of Manicahan.

The injured motorists were identified as Nada Totoh y Abdula, 25, of Manicahan and Job Angelo y Santos, 34, of Bolong.

Sangali Police Station Commander Chief Insp. Chester Natividad disclosed that the accident took place at  7:10 p.m along the Victoria portion of the Maria Clara Lobregat Highway.

The report said that a Navarra Frontier with plate number KDY 173 driven by Oscar Apolinario y Barredo, 59, of Cabaluay was travelling from Sangali towards the western direction on high speed.

Apolinario lost control of the steering wheel and encroached on the opposite lane.  He bumped an owner type jeep driven by Angelo and rammed the XRM motorcycle driven by Sahazar.

Sahazar sustained fatal injuries in the head and body that caused his death.

Totoh and Angelo were taken to the hospital.
