Robbers broke through the front entrances of  the Royal Achievers Travel Service and the Cebu Pacific office and carted away nearly P1-million in cash from the two offices last Wednesday.

A Police Regional Office-9 report said that employees of both offices discovered the robbery incidents just minutes after walking through the front door.

At around 8:04am last Wednesday, a female employee of the Cebu Pacific ticketing office reported to police that the main glass door of the office was destroyed and the vault forcibly opened.

A total of P500,000 in cash inside the vault was missing.

Just 20 minutes later, an employee of  the Royal Achievers Travel Agency located along the same street discovered that the main glass door of the office was also destroyed and cash amounting to P300,000 inside the vault was missing.

The incident was reported to police at around 2pm that day.

Police are conducting an investigation for the possible identification and arrest of the suspects.  (Liza Jocson)
