Three suspected users of illegal drugs in barangays in Lamitan city that have been declared drug-free were tested for drugs.

Lamitan Mayor Rose Furigay said that the users have been tested as part of an assessment of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) to see if the drug-free barangays will continue with their current status.

The users come from barangays of Malakas, Arco and Luk Sumbang in Lamitan city.

If the tests prove negative for the three individuals, then the barangays will continue their status as drug-free barangays, as declared by the PDEA.

Furigay has urged her constituents to stop using illegal drugs.  (Allen Abastillas)
