A policeman and his two brothers have become the subject of a manhunt after allegedly killing a 40-year old tricycle driver in Olingan Dipolog city last Wednesday.

The incident started from a simple altercation that led the suspects to fire their guns toward Arnold Legados Arias, a tricycle driver, married and a resident of Purok Ofisco.

Police Regional Office-9 Spokesperson Chief insp Helen Galvez identified the policeman as PO3 Rebomariphel Quezon Agpasa, married, and assigned at the Josefina Municipal Police Station in Dipolog city.

His brothers were identified as Reymar Quezon Agpasa and Fortunato Quezon Agpasa, both residents of Dipolog city.

A police report said that the suspects escaped after shooting Arias at around 7:30pm last Wednesday.

The victim was rushed to the Corazon Aquino Hospital in Dipolog city where he was declared dead on arrival.

Police have launched manhunt operations for the possible arrest of the suspects.  (Dan Toribio)
