Here’s good news for all professionals who possess excellent skills in English.

The Zamboanga City Information Technology Council (ZCITC) is hiring professionals who are experts in English to become part time tutors through online tutorial.

Applicants, who may include teachers, journalists or other persons who possess skills in conversing and teaching in English, may earn USD2 per hour during this part time work.

Councilor Kim Elago, a member of the ZCITC, said that applicants will be accredited by the Department of Information Computer Technology-9.

The ZCITC currently has 30 slots it wants to fill.

The applicants are expected to teach students from China and South Korea who are interested to learn English through online conversation.

Interested applicants may submit their resumè at the ZCICT office at the back of the Zamboanga City Hall.

Interviews are scheduled from August 15 to 18.

Successful applicants will be given 15 days of free training at the ZCICT office.

Elago said the the ZCITC also plans to offer trainings on medical transcription, call center and other online services.  (Allen Abastillas)
