National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents conducted an entrapment operation against four men who allegedly threatened to expose a private video of their female would-be victim.

The men were identifed as Aristotle Bartolome, Arnel Fernandez, Nico Enriquez and Rainer Sioco.

Pasonanca Barangay Captain Jun Julian said that the suspects threatened a woman after allegedly getting hold of her cellphone containing a private video.

The suspects then contacted the woman and threatened to expose the video.

The woman immediately reported the incident to NBI agents who immediately launched the entrapment operation.

This led to the arrest of the Bartolome who directed police to another suspect, Rainer Sioco.

During investigation, authorities however found sachets of suspected shabu hidden inside Sioco’s house and arrested him for drug possession.

Agents later on raided the house of another suspect, Nico Enriquez who admitted selling the victim’s cellphone to a certain Aldimer for P500.

The suspects are now facing extortion charges.  (Nonong Santiago)
