Three hurt as car rams pedicab PDF Print E-mail

Three women were injured after they were rammed by a Toyota Vios car driven by a police official in barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City, on Wednesday night.

Police identified the victims as Lannie Rose Lumacad y Ascalon, 25, married, Erica Jane Pitin y Durante, 15 and Jimnora Pamplona y Taman, 20, all residents of the same place.

Initial police investigation showed that Chief Insp. Albert Lahagan y Dahap, 41, married, of Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay was driving his Toyota Vios on the way to the city proper when upon reaching Sitio Islamic in Sangali, he lost control of the steering wheel and bumped into a pedicab where the three women were sitting.

The victims sustained injuries in their body and were taken to the hospital. – Dan Toribio
