An alleged drug pusher was killed while his son, a self-confessed drug addict, was wounded in a gun attack in their residence in Flamingo, Upper Calarian at dawn yesterday.

Sinunuc Police Station chief, Sr. Insp. Daniel Taub identified the fatality as Ismael Dulla y Gumbahali. The wounded was named as Ibnasser Ismael.

Taub disclosed that at past 1:00 in the morning, an unidentified man knocked at the door of Dulla and when his son, Ibnasser opened it, the man suddenly fired at them.

The gunman immediately left the place after the incident.

Taub said that Dulla died on the spot while his son sustained a bullet wound in the body and was taken to the hospital.

Taub added that during an ocular investigation inside the house of Dulla, they recovered several drug paraphernalia and used sachets with shabu residue.

The report further added that Ibnasser admitted to the police that his father was a drug pusher and he is a drug dependent. (Dan Toribio)
