Cops arrest wanted MNLF in Basilan Print

A wanted member of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) was arrested in Tipo-Tipo, Basilan on Tuesday.

Basilan Provincial Police Office chief  Supt. Christopher Panapan identified the suspect as Boy Behoh Hamja.

Hamja was arrested by policemen on the strength of a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 2 in Basilan.

Hamja has pending warrants of arrest for murder, robbery, extortion and drug trade.

Police also recovered a sachet of shabu and some personal belongings from Hamja’s possession.

Hamja was taken to the Provincial Police Office for further investigation pending his turn-over to the concerned court which issued the warrants of arrest. (Dan Toribio)
