Nowadays, even law enforcement authorities are not spared by robbers and carnappers.

P01 Grechelle Climaco y Gregorio lodged a complaint at the Central Police Station that her motorcycle was stolen while parked inside the Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) on Monday night.

During police investigation, Climaco, who is a law student at the said university, said that she parked her motorcycle inside the campus parking lot fronting CPADS building at around 5:15 p.m., and went to attend her law class. When she returned to the parking lot after her class at 8:35 p.m., she discovered that her motorcycle, a Yamaha Mio with plate number JA 72199 was already missing.

Police investigators have coordinated with the security personnel of WMSU to review their CCTV camera.

Since last year, many cases of motorcycles stolen while parked in different parts of the city were recorded.

This prompted the City Police Office to intensify their operation against individuals and groups involved in stealing motorcycles.-Dan Torribio
