Drug pusher yields 16 sachets of shabu Print

Sixteen sachets of shabu were confiscated from a suspected drug pusher during a  police drug bust operation in Sagrada Familia, Camino Nuevo last Thursday night.

A report from the Central Police Station showed that around 10:55 p.m. operatives of the Central Police Station’s SDET led by Chief Insp. Elmer Solon carried out a buy-bust operation that resulted to the arrest of EutiquioTanglao y Magbanua, alias Tata, 35, married of Camino Nuevo D.

Police said that Tanglao unknowingly sold a medium size sachet of shabu to a police undercover in exchange of P300 marked money.

Tanglao also yielded a sling bag containing 15 more sachets of shabu and some drug paraphernalia.

The suspected drug pusher was brought to the Police Station while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examinations.

Police have readied charges for violations of section 5, 11 and 12 of the Republic Act 9165 against the suspect in court.—Dan Toribio
