Woman loses bike, cellphones to hold-uppers PDF Print E-mail

A woman was held-up by motorcycle riding robbers in Tumaga, this city, last Friday night.

Police identified the victim as Sherlene Jeska Gumban, 20, of Sta. Barbara.

The victim reported to the police that she was riding her Mio 125 scooter on her way to fetch her cousin Dominic Antonio, 20, in Buenbrazo Street, Tumaga around 9:10 p.m., when an XRM motorcycle with two persons onboard blocked her path.

Gumban said that one of the two hold uppers pointed her a handgun and announced the heist.

The suspects immediately took her motorcycle including her I Phone 5s, Samsung Galaxy J7 and her black backpack.

The suspects left the victim, one driving her motorcycle and sped away bring their loot.

The victim rushed to the Sta. Maria Police Station to report the incident.(Dan Toribio)
