PhilHealth conducts ‘Alaga Ka’ Print

The Philippine Health Insurance (PhilHealth) regional office 9 is conducting its “Alaga Ka or PhilHealth Alamin at Gamitin para sa Kalusugan 2017” intended for the indigent families who are usually member-benificiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

PhilHealth said that this new project aims to provide regular program update and information to members especially for the indigent sector which is being carried out in the entire region.

During the Alaga Ka, topics will focus on membership,  methods and on how to obtain PhilHealth benefits, various benefits of the members, and the latest program of the office.

In Zamboanga City, the PhilHealth Local Health Insurance Zamboanga City Office is the one spearheading the conduct of Alaga Ka.

For Zamboanga, the schedule of the Alaga Ka are as follows: September 19 barangays Sta Maria and Canelar, September 21 Vitali and Curuan, September 26 Talon Talon and Sta Catalina, September 28 Guiwan and Tetuan, October 3 Manicahan and Sangali and October 5 Mercedes and Tumaga.

This project is being implemented in coordination with the barangay, city government, and the DSWD. (R.G. A A. Go)
