PNP chief set to visit Zambo on Wednesday PDF Print E-mail

PNP Chief Ronaldo “Bato”Dela Rosa is set to visit the city on Wednesday to confer with the police officials and local government units regarding the all out war against illegal drugs, security and peace and order in Zamboanga Peninsula.

Chief Supt. Billy B. Beltran, police regional director, disclosed that upon arrival the PNP chief will hold a command conference with the officers of the police regional office regarding the implementation of the all out war against illegal drugs, the current peace and security situation in the different parts under the PRO-9 and also security  preparations for the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival.

The conference will be held at PRO-9, where Dela Rosa is also expected to meet some officials of different local government units.

Chief Supt. Beltran also said that the PNP chief will also discuss with the police here about the continuity of the 116th PNP Founding Day Anniversary celebration.

Beltran said that Dela Rosa had earlier reiterated in his directive to all Police Regional Offices nationwide to further intensify their campaign against illegal drugs, illegal gambling and other forms of criminality.

He added that the PNP also gave stern warning to all policemen not to commit any illegal act that will malign the name of the police after Dela Rosa ordered the relieve of all officers and personnel of Caloocan Police Station whose some members were involved in crime and other irregularity.
