Five more suspected drug pushers were arrested in separate drug bust operations carried out by the local police in the different barangays of the city as the intensified war against illegal drugs continues.

Edzhar Joaquino Musa, 31, of Dacon, Recodo was arrested by operatives of the Sinunuc Police Station last Monday afternoon. Police confiscated from his possession six sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of P25,000 and the P300 marked money used for the buy-bust operation.

Eddie Basari Antong, 45, married of Purok 3, Recodo was also nabbed by men of the Central Police Station led by Chief Insp. Elmer Solon last Monday afternoon.

Solon and his men confiscated from the suspect 11 sachets of shabu and P300 marked money.

Kenneth Seno Asta, 37, of Purok 7, Recodo was apprehended by men of Ayala Police Station last Monday night.

Police recovered from his possession four sachets of shabu, paraphernalia and P200 marked money.

Ruel Nonito Dela Cruz, 32, single and Lindon Rojas Gaganaocruz, 21, married, both of Fernandez Drive, Mampang were arrested by men of the Tetuan Police Station led by Supt. Nonito Asdai last Monday night.

Police recovered from their possession a medium size sachet of shabu, P200 marked money and drug paraphernalia.

All the suspects are detained at their respective police station while the seized drugs were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examinations. – Dan Toribio
