We are just awaiting confirmation from Malacañang whether he will attend our culmination program on October 11,” Olasiman told reporters during the regular press conference of Mayor Beng Climaco at City Hall yesterday.

According to Olasiman, there were initial talks but there is still no confirmation yet if the president can come but the city is hoping that the president will be able to grace the fiesta main program.

Mayor Climaco said that she is closely coordinating with Malacañang regarding the invitation as she expressed optimism that President Duterte will come to the city.
