LTO automated and regular Office to open in Bongao Print

The Land Transportation Office-9 will open soon an automated and regular office in Bongao Tawi-Tawi.

Director Aminola P. Abaton has disclosed that he has already sent his senior staff Shan Abdelshan and the representatives of the Stradcom, the private firm contracted by the LTO to put up the computerization and automation of its brances, to Bongao, Tawi. Tawi.

“They are now conducting and ocular inspection and assessment of our Bongao LTO office. Once completed we will report the outcome of their ocular inspection and assessment to the Central Office,” Atty. Abaton told DZT in an interview.

Abaton explained that as the present the LTO office in Bongao Tawi-Tawi is still in manual operations and its operation is intended only for motorcycles.

According to Abaton, once the Bongao LTO office is computerized and automated, four wheel- motor vehicles registration can be renewed, issuances of students & driver licenses and renewal will also be open.  Hence ,the functions and operations of the office will already be regular.

In the other development, Abaton also said that the first deployment of five year- validity of driver license will be done on October 23,2017 as per memorandum issued from Central Office. Allen Abastillas
