Abu Sayyaf bandit wanted for murder eluded arrest in Taluksangay PDF Print E-mail

A suspected member of the Abu Sayyaf Group with his four cohorts eluded arrest during a police and military operation in barangay Taluksangay last Friday night.

A police report disclosed that around 6 p.m. men of the Culianan Police Station and troops of the Task Force Zamboanga swooped down inTaluksangay purposely to serve a warrant of arrest for murder against Aha Jamong Daiyang, who is a member of the Abu Sayyaf Group under Comander Isnilon Hapilon.

However, while the lawmen were approaching the area, Daiyang and his companions sensed the arrival of the policemen and soldiers and immediately fired upon the approaching authorities.

A brief firefight ensued but the wanted bandit and his four companions were able to escape.
