The 60 traveling merchants will start from September 30 to October 31 where they will have to pay some P8,000 to the city government. These traveling merchants come all the way from Cebu, Davao, General Santos, Albay, Lamitan, and other cities.

For the midnight sale and smoke out, there will be 25 stalls each where they will pay P2,500 per stall and they will start from September 30 to October 11.

“Even though its just 30 days, compared to other activities of the city during the Fiesta Pilar this is the only income-generating. During fiesta, the city government spends money…with this activity the city will have an income,” Barredo said.

The city spend a total of P5 million for the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2017 while for last year, the city only spend P2 million. The reason for the increase in budget is there are additional activities and the activities are even extended.
