Neighborhood brawl leaves two men seriously wounded PDF Print E-mail

A gunman was hacked and seriously wounded by the brother of a person he shot in Sampaloc Drive, Talon-Talon last Sunday afternoon.

DZT gathered that brothers Raul, 39, Roel, of legal age and Maximino, 56, all surname Lazarro y Pontillas, both of the mentioned place were having a drinking spree outside their house.  Esquerdo Sappari y Assanuddin, 39, married, of the same place passed by and was confronted by the two brothers.

The duo questioned Sappari for accusing them as robbers.

At this point, Sappari went home and few minutes later he returned and was already armed with a 9mm pistol.

Lazaro brothers told newsmen that Sappari suddenly pulled out his pistol and shot Raul in the leg.

Upon seeing this, Roel went inside their house and also got a bolo that prompted Sappari to shoot him but the magazine of his pistol fell. Roel then hacked Sappari in the head that caused him to fall on the ground.

Maximino also sustained a hack wound in the left hand, but it was not stated in the report on how he acquired the wound.

Maximino, Raul and Sappari were taken to the hospital for treatment.
