Lamitan City Government has acquired a P57 million bank loan from the Land Bank of the Philippines, Zamboanga Branch intended for various projects particularly construction of power plant sub-stations, upgrading of CCTV, and acquisition of shuttle bus.

Mayor Rose U. Furigay the other day conferred with Land Bank Dept. Manager Roel A. Tarroza where they finalized the city government loan with the bank during a meeting at thet Land Bank Office in Pettit Barracks, Zamboanga City.

Furigay said the P57 million will be used to fund for power plant sus-stations, the upgrading of the CCTV’s of the city for combating and  crime prevention and the acquisition of shuttle bus to be used for the visitors of the city, motor vehicle vans and pick-ups for projects inspection.

Furigay disclosed that the upgrading of the CCTV’s in the city is very important because it will record all activities in the city, the entry and exit of people will also be monitored.

Also on the constructions of the power plant sub-stations the city is optimistic that by next year the city will be full energized and will experience no more black-outs or brown-outs.

The city also needs shuttle bus, vans because it is very important as the city always accommodates lots of visitors from different places and a pick-up motor vehicles to use for the monitoring and ocular inspections of various projects.
