No foul play in the death of factory worker in Ayala PDF Print E-mail

The Ayala Police disclosed that there was no foul play on the death of a canning factory worker last Wednesday afternoon contrary to reports circulating in the west coast.

Police said that around 4:30 p.m. Glecerio Mondero Jr., a canning factory worker, renting a room in Zone 8, Ayala and a native of Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay was discovered dead by the house owner.

Initial investigation showed that Apple Josue y Garcia,Mondero’s co-worker arrived at their rented house and she knocked at the door asking the latter to open it but no one responded.

At this point, Cedrick Alawi, son of the house owner broke the door where they found Mondero already dead inside the rented room..

During ocular investigation, police did not find any contusion in Mondero’s body showing that no one responsible for his death.

It was assumed that Mondero died of cardiac arrest.

Mondero’s body was brought to a funeral parlor for post mortem examination. – Dan Toribio
