Zampex exhibitors earn P12-M sales PDF Print E-mail

Exhibitors of the recently held Zamboanga Peninsula Exposition (Zampex) have earned a total of P12 million during the activity held at a loca hotel from October 6 to 10.

Grace Aduca, Business Development Division Chief identified the top sellers as Cocoturmeric Health Product of Zamboanga Del Norte and Goldensteel Iron Works of Zamboanga City.

“Grande el sales, pinuntahan talaga, maraming bisita y tiene improvement el mga products,” Aduca said.

Zampex is one of the major activities during the DTI’s Trabaho, Negosyo, at Kabuhayan .

Other activities held were the Zamboanga Peninsula Investment Conference (ZamPen Icon), Slingshot Halal Philippines, and the Regional Consumers Conference (RECCON).

Zampex is the region’s biggest and grandest marketing platform dedicated to the promotion of the peninsula’s best products by  Micro, Small, and Medium enterprises (MSMEs). This will promote locally made products of MSMEs in the region.

Products displayed were jewelry, furniture and furnishing, gifts, toys, and housewares, organic and nature products, processed fruits, arts and crafts, and holiday decor.

There were 100 booths inside the exhibit area with 98 exhibitors and 8 exhibitors outside.

Aduca added that these exhibitors must sustain and improve their products more as the office assured to help these entrepreneurs.

TNK is designed to realize Ambisyon 2040 and the 2030 agenda for sustainable development and economic growth. Recall, President Rodrigo R. Duterte signed Executive Order 25 approving the 25- year long term vision for the Philippines dubbed as Ambisyon 2040.

She also revealed that DTI 9 Regional Director Sitti Amina Jain is planning to hold the Zampex next year in Manila just like what the other regions are doing. (R.G. A A. Go)
