A dispute between two security guards resulted to death after  one stabbed another in an act of rage at their post in Johnston Subdivision Baliwasan last Friday.

The fatality was identified as Cesar Lopez y Parco, 47 years old, single and a resident of Cawa Cawa.

The suspect was identified as Martino Ybanez y Munez.

The two are guards of the King Tiger Security Agency  detailed at Sapphire Drive Johnston Subdivision, Baliwasan.

Around 6pm last Friday, Ybañez approached Lopez in his post and stabbed the latter.

The victim was rushed to the hospital but expired while undergoing treatment.

Police were able to arrest Ybañez and recovered a knife from  his possession during hot pursuit operations.

The suspect was detained at the police station following the  filing of charges in court.

Rowena Alarba, live-in partner of Lopez, told police that the two had figured in a work-related dispute prior to the incident.
