Woman stabs victim with ‘tari’ Print

A woman is facing possible imprisonment after meddling in a family squabble and stabbing one of the members with a gaff (tari) in Barangay Danlugan, Pagadian City last Thursday.

The victim was identified as Eusebia Superable Bercero, 46 years old, female, married.

Bercero was reportedly stabbed by Kathleen Fernandez Granger, 29 years old, female, married.

According to PO2 Mizrach Lapid,  the melee started when Alberto Mutia Superable shouted at his cousin, Eusebia to come out of her house at around 8pm Thursday.

Family members soon arrived at the scene resulting to a commotion.

Amid the ongoing squabble, Granger, who was reportedly intoxicated, appeared and stabbed the victim several times with a gaff, hitting her on different parts of the body.

The victim was brought by her relatives to the hospital for treatment.  (Liza Jocson)
