LTO activates Oplan Undas Print

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has reactivated “Oplan Undas” last Wednesday in preparation for the forthcoming observance of All Saints Day on November 1.

LTO-9 Director Atty Aminola Abaton said that the reactivation of the program  is routinary and done every year to assist commuters in the peaceful and orderly observance of All Saints Day.

“Our teams in cities and provinces are in place,”  Abaton said.

The LTO has established a Passenger Assistance Center in seaports, airports and bus terminals in the entire region.

The teams under the program are also instructed to coordinate with Highway Patrol Group troopers.

Among the agencies included in “Oplan Undas” are the Phiippine Ports Authority, Maritime Industry, Philippine Coast Guard, Civil Aeronautics Authority and Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board.  (Allen Abastillas)
