At least 200 patients are affected by the renovation of the City  Health Office’s Out Patient Department in Pettit Barracks.

Dr. Rodelin Agbulos, City Health Officer, said that those who need medical consultation will have to go to the health centers for the meantime while the renovation is being done.

An exception will be patients seeking anti-rabies vaccines who may go to the second floor of the City Health Office.

The City Health Office’s 26 doctors will also be on standby in the health centers while renovation on the outpatient department is being done.

“Just give us enough time because we are temporarily stopping el consultation na OPD aqui na CHO cay ta planta kita el nuevo building.  Ta hace kita expansion conel OPD,”  Agbulos explained.

Budget for the OPD renovation amounts to P4-million.

The renovation project is expected to be completed in three months.

Agbulos said that the OPD will be able to accommodate more patients once renovation is completed.  (RGAAGo)
