Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives rounded up four alleged drug personalities in Zamboanga Peninsula this week.

At around 4 p.m. Friday, PDEA agents arrested Omar Natih Jalali, 31, married of Ayer Village, Sta. Barbara, in Lustre Street.

PDEA Regional Director Lyndon Aspacio disclosed that a total of six sachets worth P18,500, drug paraphernalia and P500 marked money were confiscated from the suspect’s possession.

In Dipolog City, Frangie Franca y Empasis, 36, single of Madasigon, barangay Miputak was arrested by PDEA agents backed-up by policemen.

PDEA agents confiscated seven sachets of shabu worth P300,000 and P1,000 marked money.

In barangay Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, particularly in Purok Orchids, PDEA agents arrested Earl Jones Ricafort y Celicious, 31, a resident of Ayer Village, Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City.

PDEA agents confiscated from the suspect’s possession two sachets of shabu worth P1,200 and P200 marked money.

Meanwhile, Michael Jumuad y Napao, 35, married of barangay Tambak, Banonong, Dapitan City was arrested by the same agents on the same day.

Seized from the suspect was a sachet of shabu worth P500 and P500 marked money.

All the suspects were detained at the respective PDEA office pending the filing of charges in court. – Dan Toribio
