Two suspected robbers were arrested after they victimized a teenager in Johnston Subdivision in San Jose Road the other night.

Police said the victim, Ahmed Manga y Bañez, 18, single of  Guiwan, appeared at Police S\tation 11 to report that he was  held-up by a group of persons in Johnston Subdivision.

Manga was reportedly divested of his two cell phones at around  9:45 p.m. last Saturday. Acting on the report, policemen of the Investigation Section  along with the victim conducted a follow-up operation in the  area.

When policemen and the victim reached Triplitt Sto. Niño, they  spotted a group of persons, one of who was recognized by  Manga  as one of the suspects who robbed him.

However the group of persons scampered in different  directions when they saw the police.

Last Monday,  Reynan Napalcruz y Bernardo, alias Hogan, 23,  was arrested in Baliwasan Tabuk after he was spotted by the  victim who was with the police during the continuous follow-up  operation.

During the investigation, Napalcruz identified his cohort as  Rafsand Unga y Dumatal, male, 25 years old, married of  Baliwasan Tabuk, San Jose Gusu, this city.

At this point, policemen conducted another follow-up operation  that resulted to the arrest of Unga last Tuesday morning.

Both suspects were detained at the police station pending the  filing of charges in court. – Dan Toribio
