Body of missing teen-ager found Print

A 14-year-old boy, who went missing while having a picnic with his family in Caragasan Beach last Wednesday, was recovered dead along the shores of Purok 11 in Sinunuc yesterday morning.

Police identified the fatality as Nashtreen Isduri Sanggaan, of Kasulutan, Sta. Catalina.

He was identified by his mother Elina Isduri Sanggaan.

Investigation showed that last Wednesday morning Nashtreen went on a picnic along with his family in Caragasan Beach to celebrate as Panulakbala (St. John.)

Hours into the activity, Nashtreen was said to have disappeared at sea after being overtaken by big waves.

The incident was reported to the Philippine Coast Guard who immediately conducted search and rescue operations.

At around 5:30 a.m. yesterday, residents of Purok 11 in Sinunuc noticed a cadaver, soon identified to be that of Nashtreen, floating near the shore.

The discovery was reported immediately to the police.
