PDEA arrests two more drug pushers in ZamPen PDF Print E-mail

Two more suspected drug pushers were arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)  in Zamboanga Peninsula recently.

Manilyn Solis y Bacias, 31, single of Purok Jerusalem, Barangay Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay was arrested around 8:45 p.m. last Thursday.

PDEA Regional Director Lyndon Aspacio said that his team confiscated from Solis’ possession 3 sachets of shabu worth P1,500 and the P500 marked money.

In another operation, around 9:40 p.m. of the same date, the same team arrested Alcimar Mohammad y Edal, 40, married of Purok Reservoir, Barangay Don Andres, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Aspacio said that Mohammad was nabbed at Safety Lodge, Poblacion in Ipil.

PDEA team recovered from the suspect’s possession seven sachets of shabu worth P6,000 and the P200 marked money.

The two suspects are now detained at the PDEA office in Ipil, pending the filing of charges in court against them. – Dan Toribio
