Police are still investigating the alleged suicide of a 14-year old boy who was found dead at the family residence in Victoria last Thursday.

The boy, “Jayzee,” was found by relatives with a nylon rope tied around his neck connected to the ceiling of the room.

Police said that the fatality was residing with his uncle along with his young sister in barangay Victoria.

Initial investigation showed that prior to the incident, Jayzee asked permission from his uncle Expedito Solis y Manuel to visit his mother who just gave birth in Sibulao that morning.

Jayzee left immediately after his request was granted by his uncle.

Soon after, family members  left the residence after Jayzee’s departure.

At around 6:30pm Expedito arrived home and was terrified to see a one-meter-long rope tied around the neck of Bryan and connected to the ceiling inside their bedroom.

Policemen however noticed that both knees of the victim touched the ground.

Police have launched a thorough investigation to determine if there was foul play on the death of the teenager.  (Dan Toribio)
