The Joaquin Enriquez Memorial Stadium is expected to receive athletes for training by the early part of next year.

“Na maga athletes hopefully by early next year, pwede ya kita man start training and man hold maga sports activities possible by January 2018,” said Paul Lagonera, Project Contractor of RCDG Construction.

Lagonera made the statement after the installation of rubber on the track oval last week.

The work on the track oval had been deferred due to the delay in the arrival of the materials from Germany.

The facility is now following  international standards such as  a wide track oval, and the soccer field is now placed in the middle of the oval.  (RGAAGo)
