A drug test of all Zamboanga City Reformatory Center officals and personnel yielded negative results, according to a jail official.

ZCRC Warden Chief inspector Nathaniel Aljas said that drug results from 111 jail personnel have yielded negative based on tests conducted last November 25.

The drug test is reportedly in line with a directive issued under the anti -drug campaign of newly designated Jail Director Deogracias Tapayan.

Tapayan, a native of Zamboanga del Norte, adopted President Rodrigo Duterte’s initial to be used as an acronym for guidelines and policies under his new administration.

PRRD is a well compact program thrust which stands for the following: P- progressive personnel cleansing and build-up; R-recruitment, revamp training and orientation; R- rehabilitation of facilities and development of inmates and D- decongest, deradicalize and drug-free jail facilities.

“Oplan Linis-Piitan and symposium on Illegal drugs were also undertaken with the support from our counterpart, the PNP station 11 and PDEA IX,”s Aljas elaborated.

Aljas appealed to the families and friends who visit inmates not to attempt to bring in prohibited drugs inside the jail facility.  (Ely Dumaboc)
