The Land Transportation extension office in San Jose Gusu has reported an increase in revenue collection by more than 100 percent this year.

E-Patrol Extension Officer in Charge Janodin A. Basher reported that revenue collection has reached a total of P23,424,375.92 from January to November 2017.

Revenues were earned from motor vehicle registration, renewal of drivers’ licenses, and other services.

The figure represents a difference of P12, 064,878.98 compared to 2016 collections amounting to  P11,359, 496.94.

Basher attributed the increase to more comfort for its clients brought about by added amenities and facilities at the LTO San Jose office.

Basher said that the extension office is now air-conditioned and has television with cable and comfort rooms, facilities which resulted to more comfort and convenience in transacting with LTO personnel.  (Allen Abastillas)
