The City Administrator’s Office has issued guidelines to help residents who intend to do caroling activities this Christmas season.

Carolers are expected to double tomorrow, the start of Misa de Gallo or Simbang Gabi.

The following guidelines are issued by the City Administrator’s Office for an orderly activity.

If carolers plan to carol inside a subdivision, the group must coordinate with the Homeowners Association.

Under the permit, carolers must undertake their activity from 6 to 10pm.

Singing of Christmas songs must be done in a pleasant manner.  No shouting and making of unnecessary noise that is irritating to the senses must be made.

Caroling inside malls and department stores must be done with prior permission from management.

There must be no caroling activity along sidewalks, particularly along Mayor Cesar Climaco Avenue and La Purisima Street.

The city government will not be held liable for any untoward incident during the caroling activity.  The organizer should be solely responsible.

Go is urging households to be informed of these guidelines and reitarate the need for carolers to apply for a permit from City Hall.

“It is to our advantage in terms of security to  know quien tan carol, to be informed, cay si tiene sila permit, it means that they passed the process and we know the expected number of participants,” said City Administrator Angelique Go.  (RGAAGo)
