The Archdiocese of Zamboanga has issued a reminder for Christians to put Jesus in their hearts this coming Christmas.

“Debe el Señor nace na diatun Corazon y el Señor reigna y guia diatun vida. If we have this, everyday will be Christmas if he is born in our hearts,” Rev. Fr. Marciano Villagracia, Archdiocese of Zamboanga Spokesperson, said in an interview.

He explained that material and physical preparation can now be seen such as Christmas lanterns, Christmas lights, gifts, belen, and Christmas tree.

However, another thing important is the spiritual preparation where church recollection to include confessions must be done.

The message of Christmas also includes that God the father sent his son so that people will be saved from sins.

He added that another challenge especially this Christmas is to ask for forgiveness and to forgive.

“Maskin quelaya de arde el luz na Christmas pero si na corazon tiene rabia, unforgiveness, escuru siyempre el Christmas diatun hende merry, hende happy, si tiene kita rabia adentro na corazon. El rabia debe man melt into love.” Villagracia said.
