A policeman who was charged for the killing of his colleague and wounding two others was sent to City Jail following a commitment order from the court.

PO2 Sibangsa Aming Sadjail, assigned at the Central Police Station, was committed to the city jail last December 5 and was detained pending his trial in court for the killing of SPO4 Abdurahman Estino and wounded SPO2 Abdulmunir Estino and a security guard Leo Calago.

Recall that the two Estinos were at a motorcycle store along Nuñez Extension last September 26 when Sadjail appeared and reportedly shot them.

Calago was hit by a stray while Abdurahman died due to the fatal bullet wounds.

Abdulmunir and Calago were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Sadjail was brought to the City Prosecutor Office for an inquest proceeding for murder and two frustrated murde charges but he availed of  a waiver.

Last December 5, the Regional Trial Court issued a commitment order for Sadjail to be detained at the City Jail. – Dan Toribio
