Round-the-clock drug ops lead to 5 arrests Print

Five persons were arrested in three drug operations by police operatives over the weekend until dawn yesterday.

At around 5 a.m. last Sunday, Nadzhar Hack y Basaluddin and Salip Parshim Akarab y Pawah were arrested by men of the Tetuan Police Station in Kasalamatan Drive, Kasanyangan.

Police confiscated from their possession three sachets of shabu and P300 marked money.

Meanwhile, Jonard Abastas y Sanglad was nabbed by men of the Vitali Police Station in Sitio Logpond, Tictapul that Sunday at around 1 p.m.

Police confiscated from his possession four sachets of shabu and P200 marked money.

Later that night. Lipunan Andas y Nasara was arrested in Earth Street, Tumaga by men of the Sta. Maria Police Station.

Policemen recovered from his possession two sachets of shabu and P200 marked money.

At 1:30 a.m.,  Rizaldo Daplas y Benlot was arrested by men of the Central Police Station in Calle Junkshop in Camino Nuevo.

Policemen recovered two sachets of shabu and P200 marked money from his possession.

The suspects were detained at the respective police stations pending the filing of charges in court. – Dan Toribio
