Man held up in Tetuan Print

A 24-year-old man lost his cell phone and P100 to three robbers in Falcatan Street, Tetuan last Thursday night.

The victim was identified as Michael Elola y Reyes, single, a resident of Narra Drive, Tugbungan.

Initial investigation showed that Elola was  walking along Falcatan Street at around 9:45 p.m. when three men approached him.

One of the men  poked a knife at him and announced the heist.

The suspects then took his  cell phone and P100 cash before escaping.

Elola rushed to the Tetuan Police Station to file a formal complaint.

Acting on the report, policemen conducted a follow-up operation but the suspects were no longer in the area.  (Dan Toribio)
