Teen-ager killed in motorbike crash PDF Print E-mail

A 17-year-old motorcycle driver was killed while his backrider was injured after they figured in a collision with a car along the Victoria portion of Maria Clara Lobregat highway last Sunday.

Alrey Panteleon y Rebollos died after reportedly sustaining head and bone fractures while his companion, 18-year old Rizal Rex Dagalea was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

The road mishap took place at 6:40 p.m. when the two victims were travelling towards the city proper reportedly on high speed.

When they reached the Victoria portion of the highway, they collided with a Toyota Corolla car driven by Conrado Santos, Jr., 58 years old.

Pantaleon and Dagalea were thrown away from the motorcycle due to the impact.  Pantaleon was killed on the spot.

Santos surrendered to police after the incident.

Both vehicles incurred damages and were impounded at the Sangali Police Station.  (Dan Toribio)
