Newly-appointed Highway Patrol Group-9 chief Supt. Neil B. Francia has directed his men to intensify anti-carnapping operations in the city.

Francia, a graduate of Philippine National Police Academy Class (PNPA) 1995, gave the order after his assumption  as HPG-9 Chief last Monday.

“Find and recover the carnapped motor vehicles passing by or brought to your area of jurisdiction,”  Francia ordered his men.

He also asked them to make the people feel secured within their areas.

Former Regional Highway Patrol Group-9 chief Sr. Supt. Joel R. Dimaano was assigned to head the Regional Highway Patrol Unit-8 in Tacloban City.

Chief Inspector Dexter L. Diones assumed his new post as the new Provincial Chief of the Highway Patrol Group in Zamboanga Sibugay.  (Allen Abastillas)
