Macrohon takes oath as city councilor PDF Print E-mail

Former San Roque barangay captain, Joselito Macrohon, now sits as a member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod after he formally took his oath of office from first district congressman Celso Lobregat yesterday morning.

“Gracias na confiansa y suporta ya dale ustedes un grande honor este para servi conel ciudad de Zamboanga,” Macrohon said.

Present during the occasion were Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino (LDP) members, city councilors, and other guests.

Macrohon vowed to bring problems of the barangays to the city council as a new member of the local legislative council.

He also said that he will make his decisions based on conscience.

“Si ta hace kita desisyon, ta mira kita el mas bueno base na diatun consensia. Grande confiansa de mio na grupo cay el grupo juntu iyo, nuay yo ta mira decision hende amo. Pirmi el grupo ta hace desisyon cosa el buen del ciudad,” Macrohon said.

Macrohon now officially joins LDP City chairman, Miguel Alavar III, and Myra Paz Abubakar in the city council.

The new councilor replaced former councilor Charlie Mariano who was disqualified by the Commission on Election during the 2016 election for reasons of moral turpitude.

Meanwhile, San Roque’s highest ranking kagawad Edgardo Delgado takes over Macrohon’s former position as San Roque barangay chairman. (RGAAGo)
