Farmer shot by robbers Print

A 53-year-old farmer was shot and wounded by one of four robbers who were caught in the act stealing inside his residence in Kilometer 18, Bunguiao last Tuesday.

Zamboanga City Police Office Information Officer Sr. Insp. Shellamie Chang identified the victim as Eusebio Diabordo y Ramirez, married.

He sustained three bullet wounds in the body and was taken to the hospital.

Diabordo had just arrived home coming from his farm at around 9:20 a.m. when he caught Isabelo Tarroza alias Boy with three cohorts inside his house.

Upon sensing his presence, Tarroza shot Diabordo three times.  The suspects then escaped bringing with them Diabordo’s personal valuables.

Diabordo positively identified Tarroza as the gunman while his cohorts remain unknown as of press time.

Police have launched follow-up operation for the possible arrest of the suspects. (Dan Toribio)
