Police have unmasked one of three gunmen who shot and killed a businessman within the vicinity of a gasoline station in Talon-Talon last month.

A report from the Police Regional Office-9 disclosed that Tetuan Police Station personnel identified one of the suspects as Vandard Hassan y Amping.  Two of his cohorts remain at large.

Police filed a murder complaint against Hasan and his two companions before the City Prosecutor’s Office.

The forwarding of the complaint with NPS number IX-06-INV-18C-00149 was duly administered by City Prosecutor Ricardo Cabaron.

Recall that at around 7 a.m. last February 27,  businessman Andrew Wee had just arrived at the family-owned gasoline station when gunmen appeared and shot him several times.

The victim was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead.  (Dan Toribio)
