Police arrested a 13-year old boy for selling drugs to a police poseur buyer in Barangay Sta Catalina last Saturday.

Police Regional Office-9 Information Officer Chief Inspector Helen Galvez said that  Eddie (not his real name) is a resident of Barangay Camino Nuevo and a grade 5 student at a Zamboanga del Norte elementary school.

Police confiscated a small sachet of suspected shabu and P200 marked money from the suspect.

The suspect is now under the custody of the Zamboanga City Social Development center.

Later that day, personnel from the same station, Zamboanga City Police Station 11, arrested a 49-year old man in another drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Baliwasan.

The suspect was identified as Mohammad Sabdani Khan, unemployed and a resident of Acacia Drive.

The suspect allegedly  sold a sachet of shabu worth P200 to a police poseur-buyer.

The suspect has been detained at the detention cell of Zamboanga City Police Station waiting for the filing of charges in court.  (Remus Ong)
