Fire razes P7-M worth of property in Ipil PDF Print E-mail

A huge conflagration razed P7-million worth of property in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay last Monday.

A Police Regional Office-9 report stated that the fire started at the Rejika Enterprises owned by Vicenta Jadman at Purok San Francisco, Poblacion Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Investigation disclosed that the manager, identified as Isidra Delcoro Gomez and two of her employees, were at the first floor of the establishment when passers- by called their attention to smoke coming out of the building’s second floor.

The fire quickly spread and burned the entire second floor of the edifice.

Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) personnel and other volunteers worked until midnight to put out the blaze.

BFP Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.  (Ely Dumaboc)
